City Media Academy
Adedoja Allen, founder of City Media Academy, is deeply passionate about nurturing and developing the talents of aspiring media professionals. Driven by a desire to invest in the next generation, she established the academy to provide vocational training and capacity development for young people interested in broadcasting.
City Media Academy offers a diverse range of courses designed to equip students with the skills they need to succeed in the industry. The program allows students to spend three weeks in intensive classroom sessions followed by weeks of hands-on experience on air.
For Mrs Allen, the academy is more than just an educational initiative—it is a way to give back to society by helping young talents grow into confident, capable media personalities. "I’ve always wanted to train young people to become successful radio presenters and on-air personalities," she said. "This academy is structured to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience, covering key areas such as presenting, marketing, social media, production, and voice training."
